Navigation Bar

Step1:
First open up adobe and make your width and height 800 by 800. After you finish, click on “view” and select “view actual pixels.”
Step2:
Now, select the “rectangular tool” and make a long rectangle. The color of the rectangle is #6c6e6c.

Step3:
Next, go to "blending options" by right clicking on the blue part of the layer and going to "blending options." Please refer to my previous tutorials if you can't find the "blending options." Apply these settings.

Step4:
Now hold ctrl and click on the checkered part of you layer. This will select the rectangle. On a new layer make a rectangle to cover the previous rectangle at the halfway mark. It should look like this.
Change the opacity of the layer with the white rectangle to 18%.
The image should look like this after you change the opacity.

Step5: Now hold shift and click on layer 2 then hold shift once again and click on layer 1.

This will select both layers at once. when both layers are selected press ctrl&E to blend both layers together.
Now it’s time to add a stroke on the image. Once again go back to “blending options” by right clicking the mouse on the layer and selecting stroke, apply these settings. The color of the stroke is #000000.

Make another layer and grab the pencil tool. Make the master diameter 1 pixels and the color should be #bcbabc. Zoom into your image and draw a vertical line on your image. On another layer do the same steps but pick #343634 as your color. The result should look like this.

Step6: Click once again on the layer with your long rectangle and go to "blending options." Select "gradient overlay" and apply these settings. Also apply a "Inner glow" to to the image.

Now add some text . A nice color to use is #6c6a64. You should also note that changing the opacity of the icons to 35% gives you a better result. Changing the opacity gives the appearance of a curve. Now add the icons at the side and you are finish.
